Kendall Brown
Kendall Brown, 65, of Atoka, Tennessee, formerly of Versailles, passed away on Saturday, April 12 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis. He was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on April 11, 1959, the son of Robert and Nora Hall Brown. He is survived by his wife of 25 years Cathy Brown; his mother Nora Rieckers of Aurora; three sons Kristopher (Ai) Brown of Correct, Joseph Brown of Versailles, and Jesse (Priscilla) Brown of Memphis, Indiana; two daughters Jenn (Matt) Morgan of Madison, Alabama and Chastity (Diane) Morgan of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one brother Grant (Sandy) Brown of Versailles; two sisters Deidre (David) Tranter of Cherokee, North Carolina and Jodi Brown (Craig Roberts) of Aurora; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his father, and his grandchildren Kacy and Grace Brown. Special thanks to Cousin Bruce Brown who was a tremendous help during Kendall’s illness. Kendall attended the Holton Elementary School and was a 1977 graduate of South Ripley High School. He was a courier for Blue Sky for 20 years. He was a man of many talents and interests with a great sense of humor. Above all he was a singer, a musician, and an avid Cincinnati Reds fan. He also enjoyed cooking and playing cards, especially euchre. A celebration of Kendall’s life will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 31 at the Dabney Baptist Church.
