Krystal Lee (Gray) Peetz

Krystal Lee (Gray) Peetz

She fought the good fight, she finished her race, never once wavering in her faith. Krystal Peetz, age 36, passed away at her home on February 25, 2024. She began blessing this world on April 13, 1987 in Batesville, Indiana.

Krystal was a graduate of Milan High school Class of 2005. After high school, she attended Northern Kentucky University, where she met Adam, the love of her life. During her first year in college, she was diagnosed with a brain tumor and displayed extraordinary resilience when faced with a prognosis of a few years. She began living knowing she was dying. Undeterred, she moved forward with treatments and transferred to Ivy Tech to complete her nursing degree, guided by her unwavering determination and faith.

She was employed at Ripley Crossing, where her passion for helping others shone brightly. Her commitment to the well-being of those under her care left a lasting impact on the lives she touched. Krystal’s journey was not just about overcoming challenges; it was a testament to her strength and belief that she could conquer anything by having faith.

Krystal had a unique ability to lift spirits, whether hanging out with loved ones or just stepping into a room, it was clear to see, if you knew her. Krystal’s love for life, family, and friends was evident in her vibrant spirit. She enjoyed her quality time with her daughter Emma, going shopping and doing motherly things.

She is survived by husband Adam Peetz, daughter Emma, mother Kathy (Greg) Disbro, father Randy Gray, in laws Doug and Teresa Peetz, 2 siblings, and 3 step-siblings. Her memory will forever be cherished by those who knew her.

In celebration of Krystal’s life, let us remember the joy she brought to every moment and the strength she exemplified. May her soul find eternal peace, and may her family and friends find comfort in those cherished memories shared together. Visitation will be held on Thursday February 29, 2024 from 1-7 pm., at Neal’s Funeral Home in Osgood.
