Larry Gene Shaw, Jr., age 53 of Bedford, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Gene Shaw, Sr.

Gene is survived by wife, Christy Shaw of Bedford, sons, AJ Shaw (Shyann Quickert) of Bedford, Jacob Shaw (Gerri) of Willisburg, Michael Shaw of Bedford, sisters, Lori Walston (Gary) of Rushville, IN, Shelly Wenning (Lance) of Louisville, brothers, Terry Shaw (Bert) of Rushville, IN, Gary Shaw (Marcy) of Madison, IN, mother, Ruth Taylor of Rushville, IN, grandchildren: Stefiney, George, and Kai Augustus, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Tuedsday, February 8, 2022 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Roger Smith. Interment will be at the Bedford Cemetery. Visitation was held at 5pm to 8pm on Monday, February 7, 2022. Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
