Laurel F. Belew
Laurel F. Belew, age 74, of Hebron, Kentucky, entered into life on August 20, 1949, in Milan, Indiana. She was the loving daughter of the late Robert A. and Juanita (Richards) Belew. She was raised in the Milan area and was a 1966 graduate of South Ripley High School. She served in the Ohio/Indiana division of the US Coast Guard and was honorably discharged. Laurel spent most of her work life as an Executive Assistant for several large firms. She was a huge Reds fan and an avid reader.
Laurel will be lovingly remembered by her six siblings; two brothers, Steve (Diane) Belew of Milan, Indiana, Terry Belew of Palmetto, Florida and four sisters, Shirley (Steve) Browne of Noblesville, Indiana, Glenna (Clint) Gerster of Milan, Indiana, Marilyn Belew of Versailles, Indiana and Janella (Dave) LeBretton of Hamilton, Ohio. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members.
“Laurel’s life was a blessing, her memory a treasure; she was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.” A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
