Linda L. Walston

Linda L. Walston, 70, of Rexville passed away at 11:30pm, Sunday, January 23, 2022 at her home. She was born in Springboro, Ohio on April 5, 1951, the daughter of J. T. and Barbara Gross McGuire. She was married to John Walston on May 16, 1975 and he survives.

Other survivors include two daughters Christina (Mark) Richardson of Osgood and Jennifer (Micah) McFarland of Rexville; two sisters Kim (Jim) White of Versailles and Marilyn McGuire of Rexville. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Alice McGuire.

Mrs. Walston was a former employee of US Shoe in Osgood, Madison Electronics in Versailles, and was retired from NAC in North Vernon where she worked as a team leader. She was a “professional” Rook and bingo player and loved horses and trail rides. Linda was a member of the Rt. 46 Pentecostal Church at St. Leon.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 28 at 12pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with visitation beginning at 10am. Burial will be in the Rodney Cemetery near Westport. Memorials may be given to the donor’s choice in care of the funeral home.
