Mary Lou Powers, 83, of Dillsboro passed away Sunday, August 16, 2026, at UC Medical Center in Cincinnati.

Family and friends gathered in remembering Mary Lou from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at the Filter-DeVries-Moore Funeral Home in Dillsboro. A rosary service was held prior to visitation at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 20, 2026, Filter-DeVries-Moore Funeral Home with Father Shaun Whittington officiating. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery in Dillsboro. Memorials may be given in honor of Mary Lou to Oakdale Cemetery Endowment Fund, PAWS of Dearborn County, or St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
