Mrs. Nancy G. O’Neal Anderson, age 78, of Bedford, KY entered this life on March 2, 1942 in Bedford, KY. She was the loving daughter of the late Raymond H. and Ruby Frances Williams O’Neal.

She was raised in Trimble County and graduated from Trimble County High School in 1960. She was a life long member of the Mt. Hermon Baptist Church in Trimble County where she was the church clerk and Sunday school teacher for over 40 years. On August 1, 1964 she was united in marriage to Charles C. Anderson at the Mt. Hermon Baptist Church in Trimble County. This happy union of 33 years was blessed with sons, Michael C., and David W. and a daughter, Crystal D. Nancy worked early in life for Lerman Brothers Department Store in Carrollton and for Term Finance. She was a homemaker and mother while raising her children and also provided private baby sitting. In June of 1993 she began a career as a bank teller with First National Bank of Carrollton until she retired in September 2010. Nancy enjoyed watching television, going out to lunch and dinner with her co-workers and classmates, auctions to collect Fenton, Santas and Barbies, couponing. She was an avid UK basketball fan, and served on the Relay for Life Team for the bank. Nancy was involved with the Women On Missions at the church for many years. Nancy was diagnosed 25 days ago with Lymphoma and passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 3, 2020 at 9:42 a.m. with her loving family at her side.

Nancy will be missed by her loving sons, Michael C. Anderson and his wife, Teresa of Carrollton, Kentucky, David W. Anderson and his wife, Amy of Madison, Indiana; her loving daughter, Crystal D. Anderson of Lexington, Kentucky; her loving grandsons, Derek James Anderson and his wife, Jordan; and Daniel Charles Anderson; her mother in law, Leona Anderson Courtney of Carrollton, Kentucky; her loving sisters, Eula B. Clem of Bedford, Kentucky, Mona Rose of Carrollton, Kentucky, Arline Gullion of Rexville, Indiana, Frances Smith of Bedford, Kentucky; her loving brothers, Frankie O’Neal and his wife, Donna Sue of Bedford, Kentucky, Darrell O’Neal and his wife, Lisa of Bedford, Kentucky, Dale O’Neal and his wife, Pat of Carrollton, Kentucky, Larry O’Neal and his wife, Donna Jean of Bedford, Kentucky; her brothers in law and sisters in laws, James and Mary Foster of Madison, Indiana, Steve and Connie Foster of Carrollton, Kentucky, Rodney Anderson of Carrollton, Kentucky, Doug and Angela Anderson of Singapore, Mary Payton of Carrollton, Kentucky, Devella Nichelson of Anderson, Indiana; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond H. O’Neal, died May 5, 1963, her mother, Ruby Frances Williams O’Neal, died February 1998, her husband of 33 years, Charles C. Anderson, died May 8, 1997, her sister, Brenda Lou O’Neal, died August 22, 1989, and her nephew, Jeffrey O’Neal, died May 27, 2010.

FUNERAL CEREMONY

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, May 7, at 11:00 a.m., by Pastor Larry Franklin at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Bedford Cemetery in Bedford, Kentucky.

VISITATION (NOTE: Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic restrictions apply). Friends may visit Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
