Nathan Michael Vogelsang, 24, of Dillsboro passed away Tuesday afternoon November 26, 2024 near Osgood as the result of an automobile accident. He was born in Batesville on April 5, 2000, the son of Mike and Cheryl Doan Vogelsang. Survivors include his parents Mike and Cheryl of Dillsboro; his brother David Paul of Dillsboro; maternal grandmother Pauline Doan of Dillsboro; his aunts Vicky (Kim) Powell of Batesville, Roseanne (Coleman) Gibbs of Connersville, Patricia (Larry) Bischoff of Sunman, Valery (Kris) Hornberger of Milan, Jill (Chad) Meyer of Milan, Joyce (Brian) Pindell of Milan; his uncle Daniel Vogelsang of Greensburg, and numerous first and second cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Kenny Doan, paternal grandparents Leo and Joann Vogelsang, and his aunt Juanita Vogelsang.

Nathan graduated from the Milan High School in 2019. He was employed with Goodwin Landscaping in Dillsboro. Nathan loved gaming and collecting old video games and he was a huge animal lover. He also loved to kayak and bicycle. Nathan had a huge heart and he loved to help anyone in need. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 3 at 10:30 a.m. at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Doug Norman officiating. Burial will be in the Craven Cemetery in Milan. Visitation was on Monday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Memorials may be given to The Ripley County Humane Society or The Bridge of Hope in care of the funeral home.
