Sandra Parrett

Sandra Parrett, 72, of Liberty, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019. During her final days she was surrounded by her family and friends, and in the loving care of her eldest grandchild, Jacquelyn.

She was born on December 26, 1946 to the late Wallace Horton and Edna Collingsworth Horton in Osgood, Indiana.
On September 23, 1967 she married the love of her lifetime Roger Parrett in Hamilton, Ohio.

Sandra was a member of the Brush and Easel Club in Hamilton for many years. She enjoyed painting, crocheting, and making keepsakes for each of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She spent many years making memories with her husband and daughter, Miranda while camping with her friends.

For most who had crossed her path, she was known as Nana. She was the definition of unconditional love. There was nothing she loved more than rocking her grandbabies.

Along with her husband of 52 years, she is survived by two daughters, Lori Kai and Miranda (Ruben) Vasquez; siblings, Joan (Russ) Fox, Marcia (John) Oke, James (Mary) Horton and Robert (Erika) Horton; 6 grandchildren, Jacquelyn Robinson, Liza (Shaun) Bailey, Zachery Gentry, Michael (Kayla) Rogers, Aidan Vasquez and Abella Vasquez; 8 great grandchildren, Kaylee and Kyra Manning, Kyler Parrett, Alyssa and Shaun Jr. Bailey, Maia and Zachery Jr, Madilynn Gentry and another on the way.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her father and mother in law, Ray and Dorothy Parrett and a grandson, Levi Bailey.

A Celebration of Life for Sandra will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 11:00 am at John Wesley United Methodist Church, 1927 W. Kemper Rd. Cincinnati, Ohio 45240.
