Vera Fern (Fields) Benning, 86, of Dillsboro, IN passed away Friday, May 16, 2025, at Ripley Crossing, with her family by her side.

Family and friends may gather in remembering Vera from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM, Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at the Filter-DeVries-Moore Funeral Home in Dillsboro. Services will immediately follow at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Richard Kolaskey officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Farmers Retreat. Memorials may be given in honor of Vera to the Dearborn County Clearing House, St. John Lutheran Cemetery, or Trinity Lutheran Church.
