William “Billy” C. Davidson II

William “Billy” D. Davidson II, 42, of North Vernon passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021 at Columbus Regional Hospital. He was born in Batesville, Indiana, on Tuesday, May 2, 1978 to William Davidson and Linda (Voiles) Newheart. Billy spent many years working at D.S.I. in Greensburg. He was active in the Special Olympics for several years as well. In his free time, Billy loved to paint pictures in a style that was uniquely his own. He enjoyed swimming, listening to music, movies, watching nature, and above all – Billy loved his family. He absolutely loved spending quality time with his father.


Billy is survived by his father William Davidson of Moores Hill; mother Linda Newheart of Greensburg; sisters Jodi (Jerry) Williams of Milan, Amanda Grider (Johnny) of Greensburg, and Erica Barngrover (Shawn) of Shelbyville; many nieces and nephews.


Billy was preceded in death by his grandparents, one aunt, and several uncles.


Friends and family may gather to remember Billy at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home on Friday, February 12, 2021, from 10 a.m. to noon with a service following at noon with Pastor Harris Long officiating. Burial will be held immediately after at St. Paul Methodist Cemetery, 8930 State Rte. 101, Sunman, IN 47041.
