Rain doesn’t deter Hippie Fest
Kylie, Aisley, Ryker, and Jeneen Os- tendorf, Lila Neal, Brock Peetz, Shannon Peetz and Julie Ricke, posed for a photo beside this Flower motif car at the Hippie Fest over the weekend that was held despite the rain. Ostendorf, and others who organized the event to raise money for Ripley County C.A.R.E., Inc., said the weather did keep some people away, but they served over 100 meals.
Stoplight to improve traffic flow installed
A traffic light has been installed at State Road 46 and Huntersville Road, Batesville. The hope is to make an easier flow of traffic for motorists where many are turning for school in the early morning and afternoons.
