Early assault leads Bulldogs past Raiders
A boys basketball showdown between two of the top offenses in Southeastern Indiana played out the way you’d expect two high-scoring teams to go at it as Class 3A No. 14 Batesville outshot Class 2A No. 7 South Ripley by an 89-81 final score last Tuesday night in Versailles.
Ripley County honors veterans with wreath program
Wreaths Across America Day took place Saturday, December 13 at 4,600 participating locations across the country. Our nation’s heroes were remembered as over two million volunteers helped place more than 2.7 million veterans’ wreaths on headstones of our fallen across the country. Pictured is Noah Bastin who laid a wreath on his grandfather’s grave at St. John’s UCC, Huntersville.
