JCD Board reorganizes for the year
The first order of the evening at the Jac-Cen-Del School Board of Trustees on Monday, January 12, was reorganization of the Board. James Gayheart was voted president and thanked the Board for the opportunity as president for another year. “I am looking forward to continually doing good things at JCD,” he noted. Michael Davis was named vice-president, and Tiffany Foster as secretary.
Local artist creates mural for Halcomb Home Center
Local artist Emily Adams is painting a new mural inside Halcomb Home Center,2358 S. State Road 129 in Versailles. Emily may be a familiar face to Ripley County, being a 2020 graduate of Jac-Cen-Del. She was a talented softball player during her years of high school. You may remember seeing her mural on the back of the home dugout at JCD’s softball field in 2020... Her skills have only improved since then!
