Break in weather is good for courthouse renovations

Versailles American Legion gives back

A group of volunteers from the Versailles American Legion joined together on the morning of Christmas Eve to disburse toys, bicycles, food, gift cards and wrapping paper in a drive-thru style process. Generous donations from organizations like People Helping People assist the legion to make the holiday bright for many families in Ripley County each year. Bicycles were lined up down the sidewalk on the south side of the building. The bicycles were donated by the Aurora and Greensburg Duke Energy districts and Southeastern Indiana REMC linemen.
