Country Creations stays busy at anniversary event

Customers kept the employees busy at the 16th Annual Anniversary of Country Creations, an Amish store just south of Versailles on US 421. The line was steady at the meat and cheese counter with people trying new items and returning for ones they love to purchase there. All varieties of apples are in which customers can purchase in bulk or bagged or made into delicious sweet treats candied. The owners noted there was a steady amount of people throughout the day. They offer many items in bulk and have items that are handmade and hard to find. Stop in and check them out.


Raiders upset No. 10 Twisters

South Ripley boys soccer delivered a major stunner on Tuesday in Oldenburg, defeating Class A No. 10 Oldenburg Academy by a slim 1-0 score. Pictured, South Ripley senior Bryson Sipples scored the game-winning goal in Tuesday’s upset of Oldenburg Academy. In his last two matches, Sipples has notched four goals.
