Early voting begins
According to information from Ripley County Clerk Liz Baumgartner, early voting for the 2024 General Election will begin today, October 8 in the Ripley County Election Office on the second floor of the Annex in Versailles, located at 102 1st North Street. This will take place Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturday, October 26 and Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Additional voting places and times are the Sunman American Legion, 410 E. Eastern Ave., Sunman on Saturday, October 26 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and at the Shelby Christian Church, 6675 US 421, Versailles on Saturday, Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Vote centers will be open Election Day, Nov. 5 at the following places: Elrod Baptist Washington Life Center, 5496 E US 50, Dillsboro; Holton Fire Department, 7043 W US 50 Holton; Knights of Columbus, 624 Delaware Rd., Batesville; Milan VFW, 107 N Warpath Rd., Milan; Osgood Town Hall, 147 W. Ripley St., Osgood; Saint Paul Lutheran Church, 5869 SR 129, Versailles; Shelby Christian Church, 6675 US 421, Versailles; Sunman American Legion, 412 E. Eastern Ave., Sunman; and Tyson Activity Center, 100 N High St., Versailles. Registered voters can vote at any vote center in the county.
