Dreams come true for local business owner

What started as a career turned a dream into reality this new year for Becky Thornsberry, owner of Precision Hair Designs, in Batesville, and Hair Decisions in Milan. Becky has been a hair stylist for 38 years. She opened her first business, Precision Hair Designs, and just celebrated their 30th Anniversary in January.
Her dreams never stop, especially for her and her stylist techs at her salon. Becky told the Osgood Journal, “My dream was always to build a salon with suites in it. This opportunity would allow my techs to run their own business out of a suite within my salon.”
Plans started last year and on January 27, 2025, it was the groundbreaking moment for Precision Hair Designs Suites. Construction is being done by Bobbie Pierson of Pierson Construction out of Batesville. The salon will have nine suites. Construction is projected to be done by May. Becky told the Osgood Journal, “We hope to be in the salon by early summer. I am ready for this great adventure with my team.”
There will be 13 stylist techs available. Their suites will allow more privacy for their customers. The salon has so much to offer to the public. Each stylist has their own personality. “The girls have individual personalities, and we are really a salon family. Now they can design their suites to their own. And of course, mine will be decorated in a country setting as I have always dreamed of!” Becky stated.
There are multiple services available at Precision Hair Designs. The techs are very experienced and knowledgeable about their products with the salon specialties. Her wonderful staff at Precison is Bailey Fasbinder, Stylist and Hair extension specialist; Izzy Casey, Stylist, Hair Extension Specialist and Powder Brow Tech; Shawna Enneking, Stylist and Hair Extension Specialist; Emma Cutter, Stylist and Nail Tech; Emily Schutte, Stylist and Nail Tech; Hilary Goins, Stylist and Nail Tech; Brenda Lamping, Stylist; Julie Steuer, Stylist; Kailey Weberding, Stylist and Hair Extension Specialist; and Britney Schweinefus, Stylist and Hair Extension Specialist.

The salon will remain open to the public at their current location at 1198 Hwy 46 Suite C, in Batesville, until their new location is complete.
