Eagles host elementary track meet
Jac-Cen-Del Elementary School students take a well-deserved break from competition on May 3. The Eagle students competed in the second annual JCD Elementary Track and Field Championships.
Jac-Cen-Del Elementary School held its second annual Eagle Elementary Track and Field Championships earlier this month, doing so on May 3.
The meet is put together by Jac-Cen-Del’s high school track and field program. Competitors ranging from preschool through sixth grade can take part and the event features six different competitions.
Each grade level was not represented in each event. Jac-Cen-Del Elementary boy winners included the following: 50 Dash- Charlie Fix, Pre-K, 9.90 seconds; Colt Einhaus, kindergarten, 9.01 seconds; Gerald Meyer, first grade, 9.72 seconds. 100 Dash – Jalen Ruble, first grade, 21.13 seconds; Bodhi Sperle, second grade, 16.91 seconds; Jack Parker, fourth grade, 16.64 seconds; Ryland Reynolds, fifth grade, 16.30 seconds; Reece Patrick, sixth grade, 16.20 seconds.
200 Dash- Dauson Ruble, Pre-K, 47.10 seconds; Xayne Erfmeier, kindergarten, 48.94 seconds; Gerald Meyer, first grade, 40.70 seconds; Bodhi Sperle, second grade, 38.64 seconds; Alan Huff, third grade, 40.87 seconds; Jason Brandt, fourth grade, 42.05 seconds; Reece Patrick, sixth grade, 35.68 seconds. 400 Dash – Christian Forbes, kindergarten, 2:07.06; Ryder Marley, first grade, 1:49.70; Bodhi Sperle, second grade, 1:34.05; Alan Huff, third grade, 1:27.30; Jack Parker, fourth grade, 1:22.49; Dean Schuerman, fifth grade, 1:24.04; Reece Patrick, sixth grade, 1:20.97.

Winners for the Jac-Cen-Del girls included the following: 50 Dash- Harlow Miller, Pre-K, 11.32 seconds; Stella Horan, kindergarten, 9.73 seconds; Finley French, first grade, 9.23 seconds. 100 Dash- Maria Harlemert, second grade, 18.48 seconds; Mila Horan, third grade, 18.32 seconds; Chelsea Carroll, fourth grade, 17.42 seconds; Adi Fox, sixth grade, 17.92 seconds. 200 Dash- Stella Horan, kindergarten, 44.64 seconds; Addi Harlemert, first grade, 43.69 seconds; Mila Horan, third grade, 42.52 seconds; Chelsea Carroll, fourth grade, 40.17 seconds.
400 Dash- Addi Harlemert, first grade, 1:46.92; Maria Harlemert, second grade, 1:41.80; Autumn Horan, fourth grade, 1:35.29.
