Eagles pick up golf win

Jac-Cen-Del junior Darian Grieshop was a third place finisher in Westport last Thursday night. Grieshop has also been a match medalist this season, having won in a dual match against Trinity Lutheran.

Jac-Cen-Del boys golf picked up a big match win last Thursday afternoon, defeating South Decatur at Wyaloosing Golf Course.

The Eagles put together a team score of 172 while South Decatur was more than a few strokes back at 252. Jac-Cen-Del’s Caden Kohlman earned individual medalist honors after shooting a nine-hole two-over par score of 38.

Jac-Cen-Del took the top five spots on the individual leaderboard. Logan Meyer was runner-up with a 43 and Darian Grieshop was two strokes behind in third at 45. Beckham Comer and Carson Comer rounded out the five with a 46 and 48 respectively while Mason Comer scored a 55 in a non-scoring round.

The Eagles were scheduled to play golf on Monday at Kelly’s Hidden Acres Golf Course in Milan.
