Ripley County EMS Director Scott Huffman and Rescue 69 Board President Keith Sieverding both addressed the Ripley County Council during their regular meeting on May 20. The two men were there to update the council on what had transpired over the last month regarding their two respective agencies.

The Milan Town Board held a special meeting on May 6 and the regular town meeting on May 13. The town has designated June 9 – June 15 as Clean Up Milan week.

Southeastern Career Center students experienced a hands-on event, seeing and learning about military careers and the equipment they use, at the Military Career Day held at the Career Center on Friday, May 17.
