LaVonne (Bonnie) Harlemert

LaVonne (Bonnie) Harlemert, 90, of Osgood passed away at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the Manderley Health Care Center in Osgood. She was born in Milan on July 10, 1929 the daughter of Lowell Sr. and Minnie Greenham Clapp. She was married to Paul Harlemert on June 5, 1948 and he preceded her in death on May 1, 2015.

Survivors include one son Ron (Donna) Harlemert of Osgood; one daughter Julia (Ron) Quicksall of Greensburg; seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Lowell Clapp, Jr. and Tom Clapp, and her sister Doris McClure.

Mrs. Harlemert was a 1947 graduate of Milan High School. She worked for several years as the secretary for Napoleon High School and also assisted Paul on the farm. She enjoyed gardening and also spending time with all of her grandchildren. Bonnie was a member of St. Peters United Church of Christ at Finks Corner where she was active in the Ladies Aide.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 12 at 11 a.m. at St. Peters United Church of Christ with Pastor Sandy Gruell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will also be on Wednesday at St. Peters beginning at 9 a.m. Memorials may be given to St. Peters church or cemetery in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
