Milan wrestlers compete at IHSAA semi-state

Four Milan varsity wrestlers concluded their 2019-20 season at the IHSAA semi-state hosted by New Castle High School on Saturday, February 15.
Athletes from 61 schools were represented at the meet, one of four semi-states staged around Indiana.
Sectional and regional champion Garrett Condo fell in his first match of the day in the 106 pound weight class. His opponent, Joshua Johnson of Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter, went on to place third overall out of 16 wrestlers in the class.
Ashton Myers fell in his first round match at 120 pounds. His opponent, Zeke Seltzer of Indianapolis Cathedral, went on to claim the semi-state title in the class.
Shane Lonneman fell in his first round match at 132 pounds. Lonneman concludes his impressive wrestling career at Milan by advancing to the semi-state for four years in a row.
Finally, Brady Myers fell in his first round match at 285 pounds.
