Katie B. Carter

Katie B. (Foster) Carter, 79, of Moores Hill, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Dearborn Hospital in Lawrenceburg. She was born in Monticello, Kentucky in Wayne County to Virgil Foster and Nola (Slaven) Foster on Thursday, February 12, 1942. Katie married Robert “Bob” Carter, Sr. on Saturday, December 27, 1958.

Family and friends gathered to remember Katie on Saturday, March 6, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Filter-DeVries-Moore Funeral Home in Dillsboro. A service immediately followed with Pastor Pete Byrk officiating. Burial was held at Oakdale Cemetery. Filter-DeVries-Moore Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
