Christmas candlelight service held
In a beautiful atmosphere of Christmas, those gathered at the Sunman Community Church on Christmas Eve enjoyed the service where Pastor Adam Boesken lit a single candle, pictured right. That light reverberated throughout the room giving everyone a glow. Boesken also serves as a Deputy Marshal for the Town of Sunman.
RSRF awards $271,000 in new grants
The Rising Sun Regional Foundation (RSRF) awarded a total of $271,100 in 15 new grants in the fourth quarter of 2021. These grants included:
JCD school board member resigns
Travis Neal resigned from the Jac-Cen-Del school board during the board meeting on Monday, December 20. He had served in the role for around 10 years and had just been reelected in 2020.
