Holton women seriously injured in crash on US 421

A serious crash occurred on US 421 and Michigan Road on Saturday, February 26 in the early afternoon. Billie Jo Sizemore, 49, Holton, was stopped on US 421 waiting to make a turn onto Michigan Rd., when she was hit from behind by Carol A. Minning, 37 of Lexington, who was driving a 1998 Chevrolet pickup. The crash sent both drivers to area hospitals and a passenger in the Sizemore vehicle, Bobbi Jo Hardin was flown to UC. At the scene were ISP, Ripley County Sheriff’s Office, Versailles and New Marion fire departments, EMS from Ripley and King’s Daughters’ Hospital and PHI. ISP Matt Holley is the crash re-constructionist with ISP Master Trooper Ben Bastin in charge of the investigation.
