Beth L. Taylor

Beth L. Taylor, age 82, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away Friday, February 11th, 2022 in San Antonio, Texas. Beth spent her career working in the banking and insurance industries before her retirement. She grew up in Holton, Indiana surrounded by her loving parents, Eldon & Goldah Jackson, and her many brothers and sisters. She met the love of her life, Carl, while in Indiana and they spent 44 years together in marriage prior to his death in 2001.

Beth is preceded in death by her husband, James “Carl” Taylor, Jr., her son Kevin D. Taylor as well as her parents; Eldon and Goldah Jackson, and siblings Janet, Larry, Winfred, Lloyd, and Beverly.

She is survived by her sons Dirk (Elaine) Taylor and Scott (Debbie) Taylor as well as her brothers Frank (Sharon) Jackson, Ethan (Joyce) Jackson, and Rollin (Juanita) Jackson. Beth cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren Cameron Taylor, Erica (Steven) Griffith, Candace Taylor, Brooke (Riggin) Anderson, Zach (Abby) Taylor, Jackson Taylor, and McKay Taylor in addition to her great-grandchildren Avery, Tucker, Autumn, and Cora Griffith. Beth (Grammy) was described by her grandchildren as loving, supportive, honest, fierce, and always present in their lives.

There will be a gathering and celebration of her life Friday, March 11th from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Little & Sons funeral home, Indianapolis, Indiana followed by a private family burial, Saturday, March 12th in Dale, Indiana. The family would like to extend their appreciation to all those who have expressed their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
