The opportunity to represent an organization as outstanding as the Special Olympics Indiana Ripley, Ohio and Dearborn Counties group is special. But to get the chance to represent your entire state in front of a national audience carries even more meaning.

Air quality seems to be an issue as the summer heat begins to rise. Meteorologists say we will experience some of the hottest temperatures we’ve had in a while this week. With that, electric companies are saying they are planning rolling blackouts, where electric usage will be off in different places for a short period of time throughout the day. This will conserve energy that will be in high use as the mercury climbs.
