Delbert M. Felix

Delbert M. Felix, 55, of Madison, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022, near Louisville. He was born in Indianapolis on June 8, 1967 the son of Delbert and Angelina Naccarato Felix. He was married to Donna Ralston on August 28, 1992 and she survives.

Other survivors include his daughter Katelyn Felix and her companion Patick Fullerton of Madison; his sister, Dana (Jim) Roark of Holton; his mother-in-law Shirley Ralston of Westport; brother-in-law William (Mary) Ralston of Holton; sisters-in-law Karen (Vince) Erfmeier of Napoleon, Lisa (Jesse) Richardson of Cedar Grove, Tennessee, and Cindy (Doug) Puckett of Westport. He was preceded in death by his parents, his father-in-law William Ralston, brother-in-law Michael Ralston, and his nephew Jesse Sizemore.

Mr. Felix was a 1985 graduate of Jac-Cen-Del High School. He was known throughout the county for his participation with local fire departments and life squads. He was a driver and first responder for Rescue 69 for 17 years and was a former member of the Delaware, Osgood, and Holton fire departments. He was a former employee of the Ripley County Red Cross where he worked as an office manager and the Emergency Disaster Team Leader. Delbert was a member of the Dabney Baptist Church, American Amateur Radio Association, and was a founder of the Ripley County HAM Radio Club.

Delbert’s wishes were to be cremated and there are no immediate plans for services. Memorials may be given to the donor’s choice in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
