Shawn A. Beach

Shawn A. Beach, age 47, of Madison, Indiana, and the son of the late Fred and Geraldene (Maybrier) Beach, was born on October 29, 1975, in Dearborn County, Indiana. He graduated from Milan High School and later moved to Madison in 2012. On August 31, 2012, he was united in marriage to Anitra Beach in Madison. Most recently, he worked in Sanitation for the City of Madison and in maintenance for the Heritage Trail. He had previously worked as an operator and welder at Arvin Sango, Inc., was a supervisor at Walmart years ago, and was a tow truck driver. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, tattoos, drawing, watching football, basketball, and wrestling, and spending time with his kids. Mr. Beach passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023 at the Hosparus Health Inpatient Care in Louisville, Kentucky.

His life will be cherished by his wife of ten years, Anitra of Madison; his daughters: Zoey Cunningham, of Aurora, Indiana, Destiney Beach, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Keyonna Beach, of Madison, and Kenlee Beach, of Madison; his sons: Johnathan Beach and Billy Beach, both of Milan and Darius Wilking of Madison; and his grandchildren: Lydia Wilking and Brentley King. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Freddy Beach.

Reverend Harvey Leggett Jr. will conduct funeral services at 7:00 PM Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Lytle Welty Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, on Madison’s hilltop. Friends and family may call at the Lytle Welty Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Vail Chapel from 5:00 PM until the time of the service on Thursday.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Shawn Beach Memorial Fund to assist with funeral expenses. Contributions may be made at the Lytle Welty Funeral Home.
