Jarred Meinders’ number 1318 retired

Members of Jarred Meinders’ family were present at the Delaware Fire Dept. as they officially retired Jarred Meinders’ number 1318. They presented the family with a shadow box that has his gear in it. Chief Bushhorn commented, “We didn’t even wash it, we wanted it to be just as it was the last time Jarred wore it.” Pictured from left are: Chelsa Dwenger, Shayla Meinders, Jackie Meinders, Ginny Yorn, and Jeff Meinders.


Grunkenmeyer no-hits Knights

Batesville senior Jack Grunkemeyer had his way with South Dearborn on Thursday night, recording a no-hitter in a 2-0 win for the Bulldogs to kick off their final three games of the regular season.


Girls want to have fun at GOTR event

Girls on the Run was a great success again this year where several hundred of girls came out for the Spring 5K along with numerous friends and family and volunteer coaches who participated and dedicated to Margaret Mary Health Girls on the Run program.
