Milan Schools introduce teachers

Milan Community Schools Superintendent Jane Rogers introduced new teachers to the school board at their June meeting. Erin Wuestefeld will fill the Special Education teaching vacancy at the intermediate school with Taylor Mann approved to teach math. Melinda McMullin was hired as a one-to-one paraprofessional at the elementary school with Alayanna Lawrence to fill the full-time preschool assistant position.


Independence Day celebrated

A crowd gathered on Sunday for the Milan Lions Club Annual Fourth of July Parade where several entries made the parade one of the best.


Bryantsburg Camp having services

Bryantsburg Holiness Camp is going on this week with services daily at 7 p.m. The evangelist for the week is Rev. Bennie Durr with Dennis and Brenda Barrick bringing the message in song. The event will continue this week through Sunday when the service will be held at 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome to these services that will continue through Sunday, July 11.
