Batesville man pleads guilty to child molest charge
Brian K. Sims, 42, Batesville has pled guilty to Child Molesting, Level 1 Felony. According to information on court records, Sims understands the nature of the charge against him and the possible sentences, etc. The document further reads “that said guilty plea was freely and voluntarily made, that the plea is accurate and that there is a factual basis for the defendant’s plea of guilty.”
Jason Hughes named JCDHS asst. principal
At the June meeting of the Jac-Cen-Del School Board of Trustees, Jason Hughes was approved to be the Jr. Sr. High School Assistant Principal. This will be per administration contract pay and benefits for the 2021-2022 school year.
Milan Grand Marshal looking forward to parade
It’s no wonder Jerry Walker was asked to be the Grand Marshal for the Lions Club Fourth of July Parade in Milan. After talking with her briefly you know she dedicated her life to people – and continues to be in touch with students she taught many years ago in the Milan School District.
