Versailles Farmers Market now open

Saturday the tents went up on the south side of the square in Versailles and the first Farmer’s Market of the year was held. People were anxious to get out and see what the vendors had to offer.

Free milk offered to everyone

Many people in Southeastern Indiana have been enjoying free milk, compliments of the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture), Prairie Farms and the vendors that allow the milk to be stored before the consumer gets it. More free milk giveaways are planned for this week. There will be a chance to get up to five gallons of milk at the Versailles IGA Store on Wednesday, June 10 from 10:00 a.m. until noon.
