Concert to be held in memory of Robert Wood

This Hope will be in concert on Sunday, October 25 at 6 p.m. at the Bridge of Hope Worship Center located at 4050 E. Co. Rd. 50, S., Milan. This group, which has been ministering to people through music for a number of years will finish out their career with this concert as a tribute to Robert (Bobby) Wood, who lost his battle to COVID-19 this year.


Party in the Parking Lot brings community together to celebrate Friendship State Bank’s 20th Anniversary

It was a day of blue skies, smiles, and comfort food as more than 400 people turned out to celebrate The Friendship State Bank’s 20-year anniversary in Versailles. The community bank provided a pulled pork lunch from The House of Brisket food truck who set up for the parking lot party from 11am-2pm. Their guests also received a free shirt and a chance to win a $20 gift certificate from a local Versailles business.


IHSAA announces volleybal sectional pairings

Fresh off the first wave of postseason draws, the Indiana High School Athletic Association announced its pairings this past Sunday for the 47th annual IHSAA Volleyball State Tournament. 390 teams across the state will participate in this year’s tournament that kicks off with sectional play next Tuesday.
