Some big victories come and go throughout the years but at this rate the Versailles American Legion Post #173 junior shooting team is making them a habit as their place atop the state of Indiana is once again maintained after the squad hoisted up the 2023 Indiana State Rifle and Pistol Association State CMP Championship last Saturday in Greenfield.

Batesville swimming faced a tough field but turned in one conference champion and recorded numerous personal-best times en route to a third place team finish at the Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference Championship last week.

The Southeastern Career Center was honored to host their first Law Enforcement Appreciation Day on January 9 in their boardroom. Ripley County Law Enforcement Officers as well as School Resource Officers for the career center’s partner schools were invited to have a lunch catered by the SCC culinary class.
