Girls accuse Cross Plains father, son of sexual abuse
According to information from a Probable Cause Affidavit, Dylan Iceberg, 26, Cross Plains, has been charged with Sexual Misconduct with a Minor, filed in Ripley County Circuit Court.
Paperwork alleged that Iceberg, along with his father, George “Rick” Iceberg, 55 years old, also of Cross Plains, met up with 13 and 14-year-old girls in Cross Plains back in May, where the girls say they were assaulted sexually.
One of the victims noted that the older man (Rick) stayed at a residence while the younger man (Dylan) drove the girls to a wooded area near a pond. She said they drank alcohol and smoked marijuana with Dylan. She noted that the three of them went to sleep on a mattress in Dylan’s vehicle and at some time during the night she was sexually assaulted by him.
Another victim said they had seen the men a few weeks earlier when they had their junior high prom and were in their dresses near her residence. She said the men stopped to talk with the girls then. She said she told the men their ages. She also noted that Dylan touched them inappropriately.
Indiana State Trooper Brent Miller wrote in the probable cause that one of the victims had taken a video while riding in the vehicle with the men. He noted that he and Detective Brian Earls went to the residence of Rick Iceberg. Rick said he saw the girls drink some peach alcohol that Dylan had. He said the girls agreed to go for a ride with them. He then said he went to bed and didn’t know where his son and the girls went. He said after speaking with the girls he learned they were 16 and 18-years-old.
When police interviewed Dylan, he said he did not take the girls to his father’s property, and he had dropped them off at a church in Cross Plains on Saturday evening. He said he didn’t know how old they were and never had sex with either one of them.
A call came into the Ripley County Communications Center on Saturday, May 11 that the two girls were missing. Officers were dispatched to an address in Cross Plains.
A hearing has been set for July 31 in the matter. Dylan is being held in the Ripley County Jail on a $7,055.00 cash bond, according to jail staff.
