Beverly J. Everhart, 82, of Manilla passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019 at her home.

She was born July 10, 1937 in Scottsburg, the daughter of Oscar “Murphy” and Mary Elizabeth (Pavy) Steele. On May 13, 1967, she married her husband of 52 years, Floyd Everhart, and he survives.

In addition to Floyd, Beverly is survived by her daughters, Debbie Davis and husband, Danny, and Janet Everhart and husband, Michael, both of Morristown and Tammy Myers of Greenfield; son, Gary Everhart and wife, Kay, of Indianapolis; brothers, Jerry Steele and wife, Paula, of Naples, Florida, and Jim Steele and wife, Kay, of Ossian; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and grandson, Brady Everhart.

Beverly graduated in 1966 from Morristown High School. She was a member of the Community Church of Fountaintown. Beverly formerly worked for Farm Bureau and All State insurance companies. After retiring, she enjoyed babysitting for several children. She was an avid reader and excellent seamstress. Beverly and Floyd enjoyed riding motorcycles and were members of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association for eight years. Beverly loved her family and cherished the time spent with them.

She also leaves behind her dog, Sugar and cat, Boots.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, November 16 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown.

Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
