Eileen Borgman

Eileen “Aunt Mike” (Linville) Borgman, age 91 of Osgood passed away early December 15. Eileen was born on June 14, 1928 the daughter of the late Hervey and Susie (White) Linville outside of Delaware. She grew up in the area and attended Napoleon High School, graduating as a proud “Bearcat.”

After high school she attended college courses and obtained her accounting degree. She worked for years in the bookkeeping department for the U S Shoe Factory. She would also meet and marry then Robert Gene Borgman on November 12, 1946. They were blessed with a daughter Judy Ann, whom passed away at an early age. This however never kept her from being a mother figure to several niece and nephews. The two of them lived outside of Osgood, where they enjoyed raising quail and gardening. Growing up thru the 30’s and 40’s they understood how to provide for themselves, they had an orchard and large garden that provided for not only them but also family and friends.

After Bob’s death in 2010, she moved to Buckeye Village, and finally onto Manderley Health Care. She enjoyed and appreciated all those around her.

She was preceded in death by husband Bob, daughter Judy Ann, parents Hervey and Susie, sisters Leota “Blackie” Jane Byard and Ioeta “Rusty” Green, brothers Gordon, Lawrence, and Randy Linville, and infant children.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 18 at Neal’s Funeral Home, Osgood. Memorials maybe given to the Manderley Activities Fund in care of the funeral home.
