Eula Campbell
Mrs. Eula Campbell, 98, of Leesburg, FL, passed away at home, Monday night, January 18, 2021. Eula was born in Viper, KY on September 25, 1922 to James and Laura Cornett, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Campbell graduated from Viper High School in Kentucky, attended Berea College and taught school until getting married in 1946. She was a member of Viper Church of Christ. She and husband Clayton, who preceded her in death after 55 years, raised their family in Milan, Indiana. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, but also was busy with substitute teaching, supporting Milan High School sports and band boosters and attended Milan Baptist Church. After retirement in 1980, they moved closer to family in Leesburg, FL.
Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her son, Michael (Vickie) Campbell of Lake Placid, Florida; brothers Forrest Cornett of Brooksville, Florida; Harold Cornett of Davie, Florida; Gale Cornett of Carlisle, Ohio and sister, Olene Hall of Fairborn, Ohio. She leaves behind sons Darrell (Judy) Campbell of Florence, Alabama; Donald (Robin) Campbell of Columbus, Indiana; daughter Marsha (Dan) Lewis of Leesburg, Florida; 13 grandchildren, Lori Kennedy (Tim) of Lake Whales, Florida; Chris (Linda) Campbell of Sebring, Florida; Craig (Hanna) Campbell of Sebring, Florida; Tonya Lewis (Greg) Edison of Ft. Myers, Florida; Doug (Sasha) Campbell of Sebring, Florida; Jeff (Miranda) Campbell of Springboro, Ohio; Julie Campbell (Mike) Gregory of Florence, Alabama; Mark (Sarah) Campbell of North Vernon, Indiana; Lara Campbell of Columbus, Indiana; Kenneth (Kim) Crowdus, Jr. of Canon City, Colorado; Brian (Mona) Crowdus of Borden, Indiana; Joseph (Olympia) Crowdus of Richmond, Kentucky; Venus Crowdus of Leesburg, Florida; 35 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Beyers Funeral Home in Leesburg, Florida on Monday, January 25, 2021 with visitation from 9 – 10:00 a.m. with the celebration of lifebat 10 a.m. Burial will follow in the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
