James “Jim” Edward Kash

James “Jim” Edward Kash, 80, of Milan passed away peacefully at his residence in Milan on Monday, January 24, 2022. Jim was born on Monday, September 15, 1941 in Milan; son of Caleb and Maude (Sebastian) Kash. Jim married the love of his life, Eula (Davidson) Kash, on April 30, 1960. Jim retired from Seagrams in Lawrenceburg after working 10 years in the maintenance department. He was a member of many organizations including the Milan Sons of the American Legion Post #235, Milan F & AM Lodge #31, Murat Scottish Rite of Indianapolis, Southeastern Southern Shrine Club, and a Kentucky Colonel. He enjoyed going fishing and hunting.


Jim will be missed by his wife of 62 years, Eula of Milan; son James “Jimmy” Howard Kash (Audra) of Milan; daughter Barbara Ann Adam of New Ross; brother Leonard Kash (Beverly) of Milan; several nieces and nephews; and his treasured dog “Chukie” (the Yorkie). Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Caleb and Maud Kash, brothers Johnnie and Lawrence Kash, and sister Lena Czimbal.


Family and friends may gather in remembering Jim from 9-11 AM on Friday, January 28, 2022 at the Hope Baptist Church, 15593 HWY US 50, Dillsboro, IN 47018. A service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Tom Holt officiating. Burial will take place in New Craven Cemetery. Memorials may be given in honor of Jim to the family.
