Johnny Wayne Pieper
Johnny Wayne Pieper passed away at the age of 76 at St. Andrews Health Campus in Batesville, with his loving family by his side. John was born on Tuesday, August 27, 1946 in Milan, Indiana, son of Irvin and Edna (nee Westmeyer) Pieper. John married the love of his life Carolyn Parsons on June 24, 2971 and she survives.
John proudly served our country in the National Guard. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Dillsboro. John worked for Seagrams for 35 years and was a bottling supervisor. He was a member of the Cincinnati Volkswagen Club and enjoyed vintage cars as well as going to car shows. He loved being outdoors golfing, family vacations at St. Augustine, Florida, sitting by the pond feeding his fish, and had a green thumb with houseplants. But, his greatest passion in life was spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
John will be greatly missed by his wife, Carolyn Pieper of Milan; son Corey Pieper (Angela) of Fort Worth, Texas; daughters Megan Schaefer (Scott) of Batesville and Amanda Andrew (Ricky Jr.) of Milan; sister Bonnie Whaley (James) of West Carrollton, Ohio; and grandchildren Sydnee Schaefer, Maxwell Schaefer, Cadence Pieper, Chloe Andrew, and Sophie Andrew.
John was preceded in death by his parents Irvin and Edna Pieper, and son Blaine Pieper.
