Linda Irene Simers

Linda Irene Simers, age 77, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at her home surrounded by family. Linda was born June 5, 1945 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Lloyd and Marie Ann Hale Tungett. She was a retired home healthcare nurse and a Christian.

Also, preceding her in death were her husband, Richard Simers and a sister, Joan Rennirt Hudson.

Surviving are sons: Ronald Mitchell (Kathy) of Pekin, INDavid Mitchell (Lynn) of Charlestown, IN Mark Carroll (Amy) of Osgood, IN Jamie Carroll of Osgood, IN Grandchildren: Billie M. Casey, Brian A. Mitchell, Cody Mitchell, Lance Mitchell, Cortney Cook, Amanda Waugh, Ciara Ellison, Jordan Carroll, James Dobson, Linsey Tunney, Morgen Wolford, Regan Carroll, Alexis Carroll, Kelsey Carroll and Jacob Carroll, and 10 Great Grandchildren.

Visitation was held from 3 – 6 p.m. Friday, October 21, 2022 at Swarens Funeral Home, 1405 Hwy 64 NW, Ramsey, Indiana, with cremation to follow.
