Marian Edwards, 69, of Versailles gained her angel wings on Saturday, January 10, 2021. Marian was born on October 3, 1951 the daughter of the late Edward and Edna Lee (Barnes) Forwalt in Osgood. Marian had a full childhood, growing up with her brother and sisters. She was a graduate of Jac-Cen-Del High School Class of 1970. Upon completion of high school, she received her nursing home administration license from Ball State. She was a caregiver in every aspect, from her family to the patients at the nursing home, she gave unselfishly. She would go many times without, just to ensure others had what they needed. Marian was strong in her faith; she became a prayer warrior for those in need. She loved to teach children the words of Jesus. Marian’s world revolved around her family. She loved to quilt, cook and was quick to take a note on just about anything

She is survived by daughter Stefanie (Matt) Alering, brother Russell (Janet) Jorwalt; sisters Darlene (Mike) Stenger, Jackie Patrick, Charlotte Forwalt and Debbie Brown; grandchildren Nicole Huskey, Rachel Huskey, Dillan McQueen and LJ McQueen; great granddaughter Kaylee; step-children Harold J. (Luci) Edwards and Cynthia (Rick) Bidar. Marian was preceded in death by husband Harold “Mick” Edwards, daughter Lana Huskey, brothers Edward and Harry Forwalt, sister Edna Mae Powers, brother-in-laws, Goble Patrick and Sam Brown and stepdaughter Andrea Luplow.


Visitation was held Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Neals Funeral Home in Osgood. Funeral services were held at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor John Ward officiating.
