Mrs. Linda Lou Kessler Hendricks
Mrs. Linda Lou Kessler Hendricks, age 77, of Hanover, Indiana entered this life on January 11, 1946 in Madison, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late Vernon Willis and Louella Margaret Adams Kessler. Linda has resided in Hanover all her life. She was united in marriage to Charles Hendricks on December 2, 1966 at the Hopewell Baptist Church near Volga. This marriage of ten years was blessed with three daughters, Karen, Sharon, and Barbara and one son, Darren. Linda was a homemaker all of her life . She also was a babysitter for family and friends for many years. She was of the Baptist faith. Linda enjoyed sewing and being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a loving mom, grandma, and great grandma. Linda died on Monday, March 20, 2023, at 2:18 a.m. at her home in Hanover, Indiana with her family at her side.
A LOVING FAMILY
Linda will be missed by her loving daughters, Karen Burford (Rick) of Versailles, Indiana and Barbara Hendricks (Steve Johnson) of Madison, Indiana; her loving son, Darren Hendricks of Madison, Indiana; her loving grandchildren, Kasie Cutshall, Ashley Hendrix (Eric), and Corey Cutshall (Brittany); her adoring great grandchildren, Sophia, Carter, Olivia, Cooper, Kenneth, Macy, and Karmen; her sister, Lisa Pennington and her husband Raymond of Madison, Indiana; her brothers, William Kessler and his wife Soni of Hanover, Indiana, and Keith Kessler and his wife Stella of Hanover, Indiana; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Vernon Willis Kessler, died April 22, 1989, her mother, Louella Margaret Adams Kessler, died October 21, 2012, her brother, Eldon Ray “Red” Kessler, died November 3, 2008, her daughter, Sharon Hendricks, died December 5, 1967, and her sister in law, Carolyn Kessler, died December 11, 2000.
FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, March 26, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., by Pastor Jimmy Cox at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre – Hanover Chapel, 278 East Main Street in Hanover, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Greenbriar Cemetery in Hanover, Indiana.
VISITATION
Friends may visit Saturday from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre – Hanover Chapel, 278 East Main Street in Hanover, Indiana.
