Nancy Jean Addison

Nancy Jean Addison, 85, of Dillsboro passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Ripley Crossing in Milan. Nancy was born on Thursday, April 16, 1936 in Cincinnati, Ohio; daughter of William and Lilly (Webster) Elliott. Nancy married Herschel Lee Addison on October 3, 1952 and he preceded her in death on April 10, 2011.
Nancy was a member of the Bridge of Hope Worship Center. She worked at the US Shoe Factory in Osgood for 19 years. Nancy enjoyed puzzles, and going on cruises, but her greatest passion in life was spending time with her family.

Nancy will be missed by her sons Ronnie Addison of Dillsboro, Ricky (Renata) Addison of Dillsboro, Dave (Karen) Addison of Metamora; daughters Judy (Jim) Mosier of Florida, Eva (Rick) Dean of Dillsboro, Peggy (Danny) Lacey of Butlerville, Connie (Dennis) Winters of Osgood, and Laura Koger of Florida; 22 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers, and one sister.

Family and friends may gather in remembering Nancy from 10am-12pm Thursday, February 3, 2022 at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan. A service will immediately follow at 12pm with Pastor Doug Norman officiating. Burial will take place in New Craven Cemetery. Memorials may be given in honor of Nancy to the Bridge of Hope.
