Robert A. Fogle, 77, Dillsboro passed away Friday, November 13, 2020 at The Waters of Dillsboro. Bob was born Sunday, September 19, 1943 in Milan, Indiana, the son of the late Martha (Thompson) and Bernard “Bill” Fogle. He married Rita Miskell on September 27, 1969. Bob proudly served his country in the United State Air Force from 1964 – 1968 during Vietman. He was a past member of the Dillsboro Church of Christ; former Deacon on the Aurora Church of Christ; and a member of the Versailles Church of Christ. Bob was former branch manager of Peoples National Bank for many years. He also worked for Heritage Community Bank in Columbus, Indiana. Bob served in many positions which included: South Dearborn school board for 16 years; crew chief for Lawrenceburg fire department for 2 1/2 years; Jaycees of Aurora; member of Aurora Lions Club for 27 years; Justice of the Peace and civil air patrol for the town of Lawrenceburg; and coaching Aurora Little League. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and traveling.


Bob is survived by his wife Rita of Dillsboro; daughters Robin (Linn) Oelker of Floyds Knob, Indiana, Renee (Dave) Mulshine of Fort Wright, Kentucky, Rachel (Jason) Nau of Petersburg, Kentucky, Rebecca (Andy) Seaver of Dillsboro, Indiana and Regan (Brian) Sturgeon of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; brother Richard Fogle of Florida; nine grandchildren: Kyle Oelker, Katie Oelker, Ethan Day, Sidney Nau, Elijah Nau, Emma Seaver, Parker Seaver, Violet Sturgeon, and Griffin Sturgeon. He was preceeded in death by his parents, Martha and Bill, and sisters Donna Sandford and Sally Clark.


A visitation will be held from 4 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Filter-DeVries-Moore Funeral Home in Dillsboro. A private funeral service will be held for the family with Neil Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery with full military rites provided by Northcutt Laaker Post #292 of Dillsboro.

Memorials may be given in honor of Bob to the Versailles Church of Christ.
