Robert Eugene (Bobby) Lotshaw

Robert Eugene (Bobby) Lotshaw

Bob was born to Eugene and Golda Hazel Lotshaw on February 8, 1943 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He lived his early years in Ripley County, Indiana, around the Versailles area. Those who knew him, knew he was special. He graduated from Versailles High School. He held several jobs before owning his own gas station. He also served in the U.S. Navy. In 1972 he went to work at Cummins Engine Co. for 11 years. In 1978 he met and married Pamela Ann Seefeld Grable. Five years later they moved to Arizona where they lived for the last 37 years. He went to work for the Federal Government at SSI and then the VA Hospital where he retired from in 2006. Bob loved life, he loved to laugh and make others laugh. His passion in life was Nascar racing. For nine months of the year every weekend was spent in front of the television watching Nascar. Twice a year he and his camper would make the pilmgrimage to Phoenix International Raceway, where slot number-G-43 became hospitality central.

He also loved camping in Prescott so much that the residents of Prescott thought Bob Lotshaw and his friend Bob Prater lived there. Bob always loved a cold beer, good food and good company. He belonged to the Masonic Lodge, the Scottish Rite and was then a Shriner. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion and the DAV. Bobby never met a stranger, he loved people, he remembered everyone he ever met. Everyone just loved him, his smile was infectious.
