Staff Sergeant Howard Dennis Courtney

e 70, of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on September 22, 1951 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was the loving son of the late Tony E. and Bernice Jean Gray Courtney. Dennis was inducted into the United States Army on April 22, 1974 in Louisville, Kentucky. He served for 21 years and rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant. Dennis died on Wednesday, July 20, 2022.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment followed in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery,1415 North Gate Road in Madison, Indiana. Friends visited Monday from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
