Jac-Cen-Del baseball rebounded from getting 10-run ruled on Monday night and tacked on the mercy rule to its Tuesday night opponent, throttling Waldron 19-9 in a five-inning home game.

The new Judge, Brad Bergquist has been sworn in by Mayor Mike Bettice to the position of municipal judge for the Batesville City Courts. The appointment was effective April 6, 2023.

The South Ripley High School Band earned a gold rating at ISSMA (Indiana State School Music Association) on April 15 at Floyd Central High School. They prepared three pieces to play in concert for three judges. Then they had to sight read a piece of music that they have never seen before for a separate judge. The students are under the direction of Ellen Fennell.
