YES Home gets $881,101 grant
Youth Encouragement Services, Inc. (the YES Home) has received a grant of $881,101 from Lilly Endowment Inc. to help with multiple projects.
South and Meyer win All-State awards
Two members of the Batesville girls golf program were honored this past weekend by the Indiana High School Golf Coaches Association as Ava South and Josie Meyer were recognized for achievements on-and-off the golf course.
First place at Chalktoberfest
Leigh Walmsley, age 15 of Batesville and attends Batesville High School, showed off her chalk art talent at the Chalktoberfest on Oct. 7 taking 1st Place. Parents are Gretchen and Matt Phillips.
